Can you accept #WokeUpThisWayChallenge? ’cause Nadia Hussain Did and is Breaking Stereotypes of Beauty!

With the arrival of social media, especially, Instagram, people started to become unreal. As for using filters and camera advancements, people got to show them magazine-caliber images of themselves. Social media is a double-edged sword which has given us the opportunity to connect, share and CREATE appealing moments and worlds that can themselves become brands, at first. But with that slippery slope started and things started to change.

Instead of CAPTURING moments, we started CREATING them!

And there is a huge difference in them.

Composing up the perfect shot, showing what you are eating, checking in wherever you’re going. There is nothing wrong in it but it is leading to some serious DAMAGES to EVERYONE of us.

Mental illness is rising; people are running hard in showing themselves perfect. But, they forgot…

Perfection is DECEPTION.

Perfection does not exist.

Its also important to know that you are a person, just like everyone else. With real feelings, struggles and hard work. Ups and downs.

With this thought, people around the globe started posting their pictures without filters, no hair-done, no make-up… Just real!

Nadia Hussain took initiated for it in Pakistan

Nadia Hussain, a leading model and mother of 4, has posted her raw picture on Instagram breaking stereotypes of beauty standard; filters and make-up!

She did this and nominated Mawra, Sajal, Mahira and Ayesha Omer to complete the challenge.

And of course we all want to present perfection – who doesn’t love a good filter?? But why do we think posting our authentic, real self is somehow not ❤️-able enough? It’s time to wake up. Your true YOU is 💥🙌🏽💣🔥🖤!!! Today I post this pic in favor of #WokeUpThisWayChallenge & bring some realness back to social media. And now I’m asking YOU to be part of this challenge too and bring awareness and spread this much-needed conversation around the world. Let’s unite and do this altogether! . 1️⃣. Post a photo of yourself how you look when you wake up in the morning (no hair done, no makeup, no filter!!) with the hashtag #WokeUpThisWayChallenge and talk about how you’re spreading the message to bring realness back to social media . 2️⃣. Tag 3 (or more!) friends to challenge them next to post a morning photo

So, as she shared this, a group of people with some sick mentality came up and started bashing her, unknown of many things.

These are the people who only know to criticize no matter what. They may be do not even know the history and the main cause but just posting hate comments and that’s it!

In fact, in real, everyone is not that khoobsurat. But, point is that how much do we see ourselves before saying things about others. Women pull down other women is somehow proving.

I wrote this article for sharing you the history, main reason for this. Just go and take a picture of yours and get yourself involved in the challenge. If you’re BRAVE enough! Yes? No? Whatever!
