SANJU – One Man Many Lives
I don’t really spend my money on Bollywood movies and who can blame me when SRK, Salman are making pile of crap like Race 3, Jab Harry Met Sejal etc. I decided to watch Sanju after getting tonnes of positive reviews and because I trust Rajkumar Hirani.
Please keep in mind that I am an ordinary man so I can’t judge a movie’s screenplay, cinematography and other technical issues but I can only tell what an ordinary person will feel after watching that movie.
Obviously we know it is the biopic of Sanjay Dutt (Played by Ranbir Kapoor) but what we didn’t expect is the focus of movie on Sanjay Dutt’s late father the legendary actor Sunil Dutt (Played by Paresh Rawal).
The movie started on a light note and will give u a lot of moments to laugh and you will surely appreciate how amazingly Ranbir looks like Sanjay Dutt.
Slowly you will start feeling sympathetic for Sanjay. The acting is amazing from Ranbir Kapoor to Paresh Rawal and from Jim Sarbh to Vicky Kaushal and even Diya Mirza and Anushka Sharma played their brief parts with high quality in SANJU. Manisha Koirala surprisingly looked like Nargis.
The movie is captivating and won’t let you move till it ends. The father-son relationship is one of the main focuses of the story and has some of the most emotional and heart wrenching moments of the movie.
Nothing is perfect so there were a few problems with the movie. A lot was missing. His first two wives Richa Sharma and Rhea Pillai. No mention was made of his alleged affair with Madhuri Dixit.
Still the movie will give you a number of amazing messages. It will teach you to stay away from drugs, it will teach you to judge who is a good friend and who is not, it will teach you to get up when you fall down, it will teach you to accept your mistakes and it will teach you to value your parents before it is too late.
